Problems in the morning

It seems as though my t350 doesn't want to be started in the mornings. When I start the car in the morning it starts fine with a gentle touch of the throttle. However as soon as it starts up the revs drop and the engine cuts out. The only way i manage to keep it running is by giving it throttle for about 30 seconds at about 1500 revs. Once the car is warm it runs absolutely perfectly.

Any diagnostics on this problem would be much appreciated

What petrol are you using? My Chim used to cut out when starting from cold unless I kept the revs up until warm. I switched from unleaded 95 to vpower and haven't had any probs since.

Could well be that your tickover needs raising 100rpm or so, they dont have a cold start facility on them so often need a little bit of help until warmed up. Only takes a few minutes but you do need to reset the throttles and adaptives on the computer afterwards so may be best to take to whoever services your car.

Im always using Vpower and as far as im aware the previous owners also used Vpower. The previous owner had no problems starting up but then again he had a heated garage.

I agree with you there LaserSag.. i thought this may be the case but thought id get some advice as i'm new to TVR's.
