Need a suitable camera for track days....
Discussion
I started off with a budget VHS-C camcorder slung under the rollover bar, very difficult to get rid of picture shake and the microphone was overloaded by the wind noise at anything over 100 mph. (Maybe your Lotus is quieter though?)
Nowadays I use a bottom-of-the-range DV camcorder with a remote mounted bullet camera, the DV stays tucked away behind the seats with the bullet cam rigidly attached to the rollover bar, I use a Lanc remote control to start/stop recording.
