Just had my Tuscan done by Jay .. amazed at the result. It was a mess before.

Great results but hope he told you not to clean it with a brillo pad anymore LOL.
Joling aside it is worth spending a bit of money and effort to keep it looking that good ie wash with 2 bucket method with grit guards, use a lambswool mitt and a good quality microfibre drying towel rather than a chamois rag, if you have a pressure washer then use a PH neutral snowfoam to remove the surface dirt before you start washing. All little things but they keep the pride and joy looking the nuts for longer. And the obvious one, now it looks great go out and use it so it all gets dirty again.

that does look awesome.

I'm thinking of having my black 996TT done.

Question though.. the before pics (as always in detailing threads) look horrendous.

If you washed and chamoised dry, did it look bad, ie very noticeable or is it just that its so much better afterwards it shows more?

It looked bad to start off with .. dull, oxidised, swirls, hairline scratches. It looks like new .. a lovely deep and wet look
