Safe way to pay for a car

[crofty1984]

What's the best way to pay for a car over distance? The guy doesn't have paypal and I'll have trouble getting down to pay cash. Post a cheque maybe?

[T_Pot]

how do you plan on collecting the car?

i would pay on collection or delivery

I was going to use a courier, not an issue now, he's got his paypal working.
