I have a vinyl sticker on the bodywork of my car ( not a PH smiley). How do I remove it?

Hairdryer helps.

Not, as a temp moron who worked for me years ago did; on viewing someone take a sticker off a windscreen with a razor tried it on the paintwork.

I often find that a stanley blade works well. Just be very careful of the paintwork.

Heat with hairdrier first, then with your nail, prise one edge up then work it with a stanley blade when you get stuck.

Yeah heat it up with a hairdryer and peel it off, and then scrub away the left over adhesive with a suitable product. I think autoglym do a sort of glue/tar removal product.

Try using a cloth soaked in very hot water. Repeatedly rub all over the sticker, re soak>ring out>rub>resoak etc..The heat will soften the glue and should peel off. If still struggling then try hairdresser as previously suggested but this option should be sufficient at less risky than hairdryer.

Hairdyrer and peel it off. Then use some sort of tar/glue remover or even petrol ?? And polish it after.
