I have a 2000 x plate pug 306 1.8 16v gearbox and the gearbox has gone , where are the numbers to identify which box it is so I can get a replacement , Thanx ion advance
It will be a b.e gearbox and there is no real identification numbers so to speak, any citreon or Peugeot 1.8 upwards will have this box fitted, 306, zx, xsara, 406 etc.
Normally these boxes are very robust and dont really fail.
