muner wheel nuts

Anyone using these or similar ?

like the idea they are "slightly" anti-theft and socket/wheelbrace won't scratch laquer on wheel nut recesses BUT the contact area of the taper seat looks smaller, mabe not a good idea on alloys ?

Was feeling rather pleased with myself (this is a BIG step for me and my computer skills) then realised title says "muner" not "tuner" but don't

The add in your link does say they are for alloy wheels.

My nuts are a bit rusty, I'll maybe consider some of those.

appreciate it does and they'd probably be fine but there again some alloys have steel inserts where the nuts contact ?

I've just ordered some for my car as I think they are brilliant, I have compomotive alloys with steel inserts on them and those nuts will be fine because when I got my wheels direct from the factory they also tried to sell me a set of alloy nuts as well. Another thing to consider is you do not need any locking wheel nuts which means all nuts will weigh exactly the same and thereby keeping the balance better. Well Spotted by the way.

A friend of mine with a Tuscan has just fitted some new bigger wheels.
He's used some fancy nuts on them similair to the link but chrome and the outer has concave cut outs on them. Cant find a pic but i think he got them from Track V Road.



Not sure if these are the ones make but look the same.

Mine arrived this morning (how quick)the contact patch of the taper is smaller than original nuts but as my alloys have steel inserts it shouldn't be a problem, If you use them on wheels with just an alloy taper then you need to make sure you don't over tighten them and use a torque wrench every time.
They do look good though I will get them fitted tomorrow night and take some pics and post them up
