God I so hate these things....a few years ago you didn't see them in such ubiquity.furious

Now when you get off a plane everyone is faffing around extending the stupid handles, holding people up, then when they start wheeling it you almost trip over the blasted things as they take up so much space behind the person and they weave all over the place....a bloody hazard.laugh

Also does it not seem somewhat unmanly for grown men to wheel small luggage about instead of using their muscles.

I'm all for equal rights, so if she wants to take a wardrobe full of stuff away she can carry it however due to her inferior muscle structure she gets a helping hand from the friendly people at samsonite, I don't see the problem.

I'm all for it - if something has wheels, it's only a matter of type before it gets power and a steering mechanism. And then airports will be FUN.

Unfortunately stupid people will find a way to do something daft and I am sick and tired of people with wheely bags who cannot negotiate the Tube or the number of people who go flying when they trip over the damn things! Hate them with a passion - though I understand they have a suitable role, but why cannot people be a little more reasonable with them and understand that there are other people trying to walk and use public transport?
