Anyone been to Alicante?
Discussion
I will be staying in a quiet beach resort which is around 30 mins from Alicante airport at the end of July.
The place I'm staying in is a friend of a friends, who don't let the property out and when visiting, always rent a car, so don't have any useful information regarding local scooter rental, bus timetables, taxi costs etc.
Just wondering if anyone had flown to Alicante and could point me in the right direction, I imagine a 30minute taxi would cost an arm and a leg and could ideally do with local bus information for getting around
Thanks

Av. Alfonso X El Sabio Nº 12
Av. Federico Soto Nº 5
C/ Pintor Lorenzo Casanova Nº 26
C/ Oscar Esplá Nº 3

Av. Elche - Parque San Gabriel
Av. Elche Nº 92 - Estación Tren
Av. Elche Nº 109 (Alcoa)
Cruce N-332 / N-340 (Aguamarga)
AEROPUERTO
And vice versa from the airport. Runs every twenty minutes monday to friday following this pattern 09.10, 9.30, 09.50. From 6am to 11pm. About the rest of stuff, (scooters etc) I cant help too much but I often find some useful info with Costasur when traveling around Spain, so here's their page in Alicante. http://alicante.costasur.com/en/index.html
