Hi Guys

Purchased My first Alfa yesterday for a very reasonable price of £1900. It does have a few faults though, hence the price. Obviously cambelt change is first point of call as the service book isnt clear when it was last done. Also though it needs a N/S/F regulator.

One thing i didnt pick up on though during the inspection was the wiper mechanism. On the drive home I cleared the screen which was fine but then when I wanted a few more wipes they were dead, as if the wiper stalk wasnt working. Is this a comman fault? Also is the Regualtor a comman fault?

Now I'am expecting to be spending money all the time on the car. But for the price I cant think of a single car on the road that looks as good. Even the way it drives suprised me and i can see a lot of summer hoons coming on this year.

Anyway sorry for going on. Any advice would be appreciated on just about any aspect of GTV ownership.

Cheers Guys

Thanks Waynedear.

Pleased to announce the wiper fault was never a mechanical fault to start with. It was me being an idiot instead of switching the stalk down I was twisting it. Ive spotted a N/S/F regulator on ebay for £25, do you think it will be the reg or could it be a relay?
