Hotel recomendation in Amsterdam?

I know there have been similar topics and have checked out those recomendations, but need some more!! Five, 30-something lads, mid range hotel. Ideally after an appartment, but only there 2 nights and min stay is 3 nights. Suggestions anyone?

Just make sure that it is not the weekend of 10th September as Amsterdam is fully booked as there is a large conference on

Edited to add if you call them they can look at two nights. When we went we paid for the 3 and stayed for the 2. (Went to Amsterdam two years ago and also end of last year - was amazed at how the prices had jumped up. One bar was charging 8 Euros a pint!!!! - take lots of money)

^^ yeah to be fair stayed there as well - very laid back, basic but you won't be in your room too long. (Take ear plugs!!)
