Just looking for a reccomendation for a camping trip I wan't to sort soon.

Needs to be near London, 2 hours of nice roads away is good!
Must be able to have a camp fire.
Nice and big so we can make a lot of noise and not disturb anyone. (there is about 10 of us.

Can anyone help?

That looks great although they seem fully booked at weekends until September!

That looks good but they don't allow groups...

Any others?

Blackberry woods, near Haywards Heath.

Best campsite I have ever visited. Each pitch has a firepit and grill, can barely see your neighbours.

They have a website, but alas it is so terrible I'm not prepared to link it. Have a google, and turn your speakers off....

Ah, apologies.

Worth getting a booking at some point in the future though.

The routemaster looked fun.

Might be worth a look if the weekend is right. (Might struggle on the bonfire though.)

Women's Regatta = Dejected female rowers drowning their sorrows after a year of hard work gives them nothing = target rich environment.

(Some are good looking, some are not. The ugly ones are usually the fastest, so they are actually have self confidence. Avoid those ones!)

I live in Henley, I would steer well clear of any female rowers!

Back on topic we used this last summer, they allow groups and they allow fires, they even have a guy going round selling backs of wood (around a fiver I think).

All in all it was a really good site.

Just outside the 2 hours (depending on which side you are) but excellent venue.

In Kelling Heath there is Breck Farm.

They allow open fires, there's more than more than enough space smile

It's bordered by a woodland, so you can get plenty of wood for the fires, we made rope swings in there too.

Cracking place, I certainly intend to go again late summer.
