Clutch doesn't seem right when car is cold (gallardo).... To get out of my parking area I have to drive forwards, then reverse up a slight incline on full lock (quite stressful no doubt). When the car is cold sometimes it really seems to struggle and rev highly before the clutch allows the car to start moving up the hill, and one time the car simply wasnt moving at all, after some time it suddenly started moving backwards...

... Is this a sign of the clutch going or? Car is fine going forwards, and also once warmed up it is perfect and reverses in the same manor and incline perfectly...

I had a reading on the clutch a couple of hundred miles ago and it was around 65/70% warn so I doubt I have gone through it!!

Any thoughts?

I have had the same issue from new, car almost 4 years old now. It just doesn't like going backwards when cold. I just leave it a minute or 2 then it seems to be fine. Never had it looked at as it isn't often I need to reverse from cold so had forgotten about it until reading this.

Well that is good to hear, I do usually tend to start the car and leave it on the drive for a couple of minutes to warm up anyway, I like to look after it as best I can, but the other day when it almost wouldn't move prompted me to post and see that nothing was wrong and others had the same behaviour!
