Nurburgring / Noise Question ?

Hi Again all,

sorry for the limitless number of questions re Nurburgring! I have one more. I have a Tubi on my car and i was wondering am i going to have a problem at the track with noise testing etc? or may i "slip through the net?" is there a chance?

Depends on a lot of things.

What sort of car, what it has been tested at before etc.

You're normally OK as long as you're sensible in the car park and don't rev the nuts off your engine. That said, they are now installing noise meters on the track. Locals in Adenau also pushed for the installation of the noise fence over Breidscheid Bridge/Ex-Muhle, so it seems as if noise policing is only going to get more stringent.

If your car is very non-standard looking (bonnet pins, decals etc) you may get a hard time in the paddock from marshals.

ferrari 360, i've not had it testyed anywhere as yet. looks standard, i'll keep my head down in the carpark... thanks for the advice.
