Hi Grahame, I stripped both of the front calipers last weekend to find that 3 pistons on each side of the car were siezed and doing nothing no wonder the braking felt poor.

Found a source for the replacement pistons but wait for it £99.00 for a set of 8 so just replaced the seals as the 2 seal kits were £29.00 and polished the pistons with a buffing wheel and fine cutting paste.

Only found Big Red who stock the pistons but they are ripp off merchants.mad

Full Calipers re manufactured are available off the shelf from "Brakes International"In Bolton at £76.00 Each wink

Cheers Paul...was thinking of anyone wanting to upgrade (discs there too), as I'm assuming 'new' calipers will be exchange. smile

Glad yours are sorted anyway, and thanks for the info'.

I got a full set of stainless pistons for under 50 quid... some Ebay seller. I have two pairs of AP 4-pots, I must get round to sorting them out!
