On the older vettes the body can be split from the chassis,is this possible with the newer vettes and as easy?.

The C3 was the last of the seperate chassis cars, the C4 and C5 have the tub bonded to the chassis rails and bulkheads. On the C5 it is still possible to remove enough body bits to take the car down to a rollong chassis.

I will be pulling both the damaged ZR1 and the 96 LT4 rag top apart over the next few weeks, come and have a look.

Geoff , ile probably make a trip up 2 weeks saturday 20th ,look forward to it and if the vats bypass kit arrives ile be ready with the camcorder when it coughs into action
