Finally detailed my new car!!
Discussion
Hi all,
Finally got round to detailing my M3 after a frustrating 2 month wait for time and weather.
Quick list of what's been done to he exterior in case you're interested;
1. Full hand wash with lambs wool wash mit, utilising the 'two bucket' technique.
2. Drying of vehicle with waffle-weave drying towels.
3. lower body treated with tar spot remover.
4. Entire body clayed with Bilt Hamber fine clay and Dodo Juice 'Born Slippy' clay lubricant.
5. Second wash and dry to remove clay lubricant residue.
6. Bumper inserts removed and side moldings masked.
7. Bodywork polished with Auto Glym Super Resin Polish.
8. Polish dust removed from panel gaps and door shuts.
9. Paintwork sealed using Auto Glym High Definition carnauba wax.
10. All glass cleaned and polished.
As a novice I'm really pleased with the results. Quick pic below.
