Camping in south of England/northern Europe?

Morning all,

Looking at going away mid June on a camping trip with the girlfriend. We are after somewhere that will have fairly decent weather and plenty to do - we are fairly outgoing so any outdoor/adventurous/high ropes stuff would be good, as well as somewhere to eat/drink in the evenings.

Have looked at the Yelloh! site and it seems to be a family sort of setup, similar to centre parks - anyone been to these? Would like to go to France but will also consider somewhere in the south.

Any ideas PHers?
