Aix-Les-Bains?

Got the last week of June off work, camping is defiantly on the cards, I’ve been to the Aix-Les-Bains region before, just wondering if anybody had any advice/suggestions of campsites in the region? or maybe considering somewhere else altogether?

I would suggest Ariege(09) but I am biased.Ariege is an often overlooked area because the tourist industry is in its infancy.Down here we have the lowest poulation density in France(so I'm told), with the mountains covering 50% of the area we have some fantastic driving roads and even more stunning scenery and walking.

Just had a quick look at your website, looks very interesting, what sort of weather can you expect at the end of June? (Generally as its not an exact science )

The weather is usually pretty good end of June going into July but being in the mountains nothing is a certainty.Temperature ranges from mid 20's-low 30's.August ranges from mid 30's to low 40's

Yes as a going concern last year.Glad that we took the plunge rather than sit back and say "what if". If you fancy packing it all in look at www.campings-a-vendre.com they have hundreds for sale at all price brackets.
