Market slow?

Not even sure I really want to sell this, as I love it so much (other forced reasons for sale). Im shocked I have not had much in the way of enquiries. Few people come to look, but ended up buying a 4.5 instead? I think this is cheap considering its not a dog!!!

A bit of constructive criticism, no offense intended - You say you don't really want to sell and this is kind of reflected in the advert, I'd try and be a bit more positive and put lots more detail in there.

I think prospective buyers of Cerbs are looking to buy from an enthusiast who will wax lyrical about their car for hours on end, not sure your advert puts that across. More specific details about what you have had done to the car and where it was done might help. Mention things like SH is backed up with lots of invoices.

Has your car had a re-build? Rightly or wrongly I think this is something that prospective buyers of the S6 engined cars will want to know.

I'd also leave out the bit about not wasting your time, it comes across as negative.

The advert and the pics dont read that well so not an inviting ad. Take some better pics in daylight.
The ad needs work per the comments above.
The price seems ok albeit no mention of rebuild.

I remember looking at your advert when i was on the hunt for a Cerb back in Oct 09. At the tim,e the thing that put me off was the pics, i think you need to get some in daylight. As my first thought was why upload pics when the car and colour etc can not be fully appreciated.

I had a similar problem recently when selling mine, didn't get much interest to start with. I then re did the advert after some good advice from the chaps on here, the car sold during the following week.

This was my new improved ad, which gave lots more information:

.....and never include photos showing your car parked on the road. Always have photos taken showing it on your drive.

I'd recommend that you add your PH username to the contact details bit of the ad.

At least then potential buyers can check you out as well as checking out the car.

A buyer who uses PH regularly may feel more confident buying a car of someone who's a "known" enthusiast than an unknown one.

Another suggestion, get rid of phone safe.

If I were to call that from my mobile (no landline) it will cost me a fortune! People never used to have problems putting phone numbers in adverts. Adverts I've placed I've not had any silly calls.

That's a good point, I started to use the Phone Safe feature and found out it was directing calls to the speaking clock!

Ok well I took some new pics of her to sell. Like I said in the other thread, its like sleeping with your missus mate... You know you shouldnt and you KNOW your gonna feel awful afterwards. But needs must, and with any luck, I might be able to get a sensible ride and a Chim to muck about with.
