I think you'd be safer declining the offer - it seems like one for an expert IMHO.

"E" Types, especially V12's can swallow money like almost nothing else, but at £4k I can't see how you can go wrong, providing you have deep pockets.....

It's definately worth £4k, but IMHO you would be the custodian and therefore will be required to restore it to full health, that will no doubt cost tens of thousands to do it properly.

Well to be honest i was just going to buy it put it on ebay and make a quick buck, or chuck some straw over it and put in in bonhams auction like i did with an xk150, see im not such an idiot!. And i do realise there a money pit as many classic cars are you can eassily over spend on a car thats not worth restoring
