Taxi Rank Le Mans

Anyone no where the best place to grab a taxi in Le Mans always have trouble getting a cab on the Friday and Sunday night.

Permanent taxi ranks can be found at various points throughout Le Mans, including the Place de la République, Centre Hospitalier, Gare Nord et Sud, Sablons (Place du Marché) and at Pontlieue.

...apparently.

Taxi's are normally parked up right oppisit the main entrance to the circuit near the museum.

I used the above company to run me back to my campsite, then got the Viper out and gave the taxi driver a quick blast down the road, he was over the moon Still had to pay my bloody fare though

On saturday night the station always seems a good bet

We normally flag down a local as they are normally happy to earn 20 euros !!

Mainly just to get us out of the car !!

Don't forget the tram system now running from technopark into town. Don't know if it runs all night during the race and classic - anyone on here know?

In previous years the tram has run through the night on the Saturday and I doubt it will be any different this year. I think this is the only night it runs right through though. Last tram from Republique to Antares on the Friday night post-drivers parade is 1AM.
