There's been an abandoned Ford Cougar V6 parked in the same place for the last 6 weeks. Covered in bird st and positioned just after a blind bend, its not outside anyones house but causes a nuisance and is becoming an eye sore.

I've reported it to the council who have done precisly fk all about it. They haven't even bothered replying to the report I sent them. This was 2 weeks ago (I'm guessing they have to write to the registered owner and wait for a reply before they can do anything). The tax disc expires on 31st May after which time I'm guessing the have to remove it as it won't be road legal.

Do I just grin and bear it for another 11 days or is there a quick and easy way to get it moved asap? ie, alerting the local gypsies.

Often the local council will subcontract the removal of abandoned vehicles, if you can find out who has this contract they will oft get it shifted within a day or two of sticking a notice on it.

Why should it be removed? It's taxed.

You're going to be REALLY pissed off it on the 1st June it has a new 12 month tax on it hehe
