I have a pseudo combat jacket thing, very useful and warm with loads of pockets.

I have not worn it for a year because the zip broke. You pull it up and it goes but does not zip but then it won't go down so you are stuck in the jacket. laugh

Was clearing out today and was about to bin it when I thought that someone on PH might be able to recommend a repair place, oh! one of the pockets is torn as well, in SW London.

I have used both the local Dry Cleaners, that claim repair and alterations, but the jobs they did were 5hit!!

It looks like it's the actual zipper that is missing something rather than the sewn in zips themselves being damaged.

Cheers all.

I have combat trousers that are falling apart. You can have them, then you'll have a combat suit with matching broken zips?

Alternatively, try a local dress maker wink

In that case look up some independant ones locally (there's bound to be some good ones) - not a big job or expensive one.
