A question for the petrol heads amongst you(well I guess that's pretty much everyone!)
Ferrari 360, Lamborghini Gallardo or an Audi R8. Which one would be the best for a track day?

My loving wife has bought me a trackday for my 40th and I have to choose which one I want, and can't.

A little guidance and your opinions as to what I will get from each one would be most welcome.

Also, I have a choice of circuits to choose from, so again any suggestions would be great.

Many thanks

Unlikely that Oulton will be on the list - what are the options for venue?

As suggested already they are all pretty good cars on track so just pick the one you fancy!

Got to be the Fezza. Imagine you're taking with mates "Hey I drove and Audi...". Do the same with "a Lambo" and some smart arse will bore your to death with how there "just and Audi" really.

Go with the Fezza and challenge them to count how many they've driven on track. If t's a one off and a bit of fun go with the red stuff.

my other half bought me a few laps of Silverstone south circuit in a Ferrari 360 a couple of years ago, great fun but I was surprised how heavy the car felt on a track. My choice would be 1. Ferrari 2. Lambo 3. Audi - for similar reasons as last post really

Sounds like you'll be coming to Everyman...

Personally I love the sound of the Audi, but for bragging factor/sheer awesomeness it has to be one of the Italians. Ferrari slightly coarser, Lamborghini 4WD so safe handling and quite refined (sounds great too)...

Pick the one you like the look of best, and if you can't decide then buy a couple of laps in the other one smile
