Ive had the Disco 4 for 2 months now and I must say I am really impressed, its so capable in whatever situation you throw at it. Ive had a string of family cars including a Touareg, Audi A8, Jag etc.. but none does 'everything' like a Disco 4 does. The new 3ltr diesel is quick enough, the interior can be described as luxurious, the kit in my XS is very impressive, Obviously the best 4x4 system and ride height adjustment, HDD Sat Nav, reversing camera etc.. the ride is excellent, its got a massive boot, 7 seats of course and the fold into the floor seats to give a completely flat load bay are impressive too, it does everything so well... I also think that the recent facelift has made it good looking too.

Is there a better 'All rounder' than the Disco 4?

Very impressed with ours highly recommended.

All IMHO

Have to agree with you Mike. Best all round car I have owned. Had mine for 3 months now. Excellent for towing track car so don't arrive home too knackered after track day.

Agree in total with the OP's comments. Following a Cayenne and Q7 we brought a D3. When it was time to change we looked at most of the competitive products out there but, the D4 came out as the best all round vehicle in it's class. 3 weeks on, I am very pleased with the D4.

I would have to agree, they took an already very good car and fixed the annoying bits; engine, slightly crappy interior.

i`ve had a D4 3.0 GS now since Feb, brilliant car. Even in GS spec, with the optional bright pack fitted it`s everything you need from a daily runner. Oh, and only paid £31.5k for it with 7k on the clock. Bargin of the year

Mrs UNPC has one and in HSE trim steps on FFRR toes a bit too much. The FIL just bought a new FFRR with everything on it, and while lovely, doesn't even do the luxury thing significantly better than the Disco. OK, he gets the V8 TDI, but the 4L disco moves along quick enough now. I think Landrover may have shot themselves in the foot a bit there.
