T350 advice (for a friend)

I've a friend who's looking at purchasing. He's been in my Cerb on a couple of TRs etc, and has the TVR bug - looking with a budget circa £20k and liking the T350.
Given he's not got "up close and personal" with one as yet, I think he needs to spend some time familiarising, before taking the plunge, and he thinks the same. So the question really is, how does he go about doing this?
1. I've suggested getting to one or two of the county meets - see if someone there has one, and enquire politely about a guided tour. Suggesting he does this.
2. He also asked whether a dealer might let him take one out? So, for this one, I'm looking for guidance? Any suggestions? He's in the Surrey/SW London area. Thoughts?
Also, when it comes to purchasing (assuming he's not scared off) then advised he needs to use the wealth of experience and posts here to get to pick out a good one.

Plenty of choice in the South East area dealer-wise: Racing Green, Fernhurst, Trimar etc. I visited them all when I was looking over a 6 month period with varying degrees of help and advice. I ended up buying from Trimar (TVR Centre in Barnet) as they were extremely helpful in every respect. I went there looking for a Tuscan but saw a nice T350 there so they actually got both out alongside each other for me to compare!
I would say going to one of the meets is a great way to have a look at one up close (Chatsworth would have been ideal) and he might also find if he posts on here directly asking to see some owners' cars they would be more than happy to help. I'm in north Surrey and if he wants to have a look round the car he's more than welcome.

I'd say hire one for a weekend if possible, it's the only way to know if it's the right car for you.
Damned fine idea - Googled a couple of places and sent them over to him. I'm sure they are good enough, but if anyone has a burning desire to recommend someone who hires, and fits the bill....?
