V8s cat exhaust

I am finally going to get my v8s back on the road after a 2 year lay-up...and only 10000 miles in 11 years. It has a jammed starter (maybe). Gives a loud clang of it engaging but thats it. I have given up on it so its being towed into Ron's in Swansea for a look at well..everything. Have noticed a small hole in my exhaust and wonder if anyone knows if my catted spec v8 exhaust is the same as pre-cat? If I need a new one that is since it will have to come off anyway.

I'm not 100% but I think the exhaust is the same - the manifolds and Y piece have the cats in.

Ask your mechanic to go easy with the engine - it may be seized but all may not be lost if they are careful - being heavy handed could make it a lot worse.

thanks for the hints and tips, actually you ( Mr barkychoc) replied to my plea for advice 2 years ago when it first jammed but all attempts failed. Ron is our local Tvr specialist so I know he will look after the car.
You never know maybe I will be here to chat more when its back on the road!

Hi daitvr where about in west wales do you live ,i live just outside haverfordwest and also have a V8s Dai Courtvr
