My mates stag-do tomorrow. Starting off with karting in Burscough, mid-range Grand Prix

Then on the lash in Liverpool

Going to be doing some work to either a Golf or my 944 tomorrow and going to a motorsport funday on Sunday.

Although with the sun out like it is I'd much rather get my mitts on a Caterham-esque car and go for a hoon for the entire weekend.

Two options if ou;'re in the midlands:

Saturday: at newport pagnall, near Milton keynes. The annual Bonhams auction for Aston martins, with lots of Aston martins about. Dont need to book, just turn up. Only cost is if you buy the catalogue

Saturday: at silverstone, Aston Martin racing. Dont need to book, just turn up and pay

The clever types amongst you might notice that two of the biggest events on the Aston calendar are on the same day, at the same time. Genius, eh??

For me, I'll be doing the morning at thwe auction, and the afternoon at silverstone.

Morgan at Factory getting stonechips sprayed out and new speakers fitted in the dash as well as a fettle before the summer.

BMW is in getting handbrake and dodgy battery fixed.

So I have no car this weekend and I'm bloody annoyed. Have fun in the sun everybody..

need to set the tappets and mixture on the mini, finish spraying the grille, A panels and rear quarter and then figure out whats going on with the slow puncture on one of my alloys.

Going to clean the 650 tonight as I've got some stuff to do in it tomorrow (visiting family etc.)

Going to start on some of the work planned on the 325 too. Soak the old track rod ends in WD40 in prep for removing them. Go to GSF for some new e36 rod ends and some arb drop links. Might make a start on refurbing the BBS wheels too.
