Sold my house, trying to find a place, found one on the first viewing that i liked. But, on average, how many should you look at to know that you've found the one you want?

If it ticks all the right boxes why bother? View it again & if you feel the same away you go.

I bought the first house I viewed last year. Did another couple of viewings but they just confirmed my feelings.

I bought the first house I viewed the previous time I moved...I viewed a few others after but they didn't seem as good, so I went back and made an offer sharpish. Turned out to be a good buy, with a little work it tidied up nicely and I sold it 3 years later for 50% more (back in the early 2000s when prices were leaping up anyway). Pretty much did the same with the house I'm in now, only viewed others because we thought we'd been beaten to it, then it fell through so we got it in the end. However, it's taken me 9 years of DIY to get it how we want it...
