3 Previous taking it up to 34k in five years.

As you know, we've redressed the balance a bit now!

1 previous who'd put 25k on the clock in 4-5 years. It's now at around the 30k mark - I really must get out more.

7 in 55k. If you asking because you're looking at buying a particular car and are worried about it's high number of previous owners, then dont fret. It is common for sports cars to have many owners and is not neccessarily a bad sign. They arent usually bought like family cars which are kept for years.

2 fastidious owners before me.

Agree with above though, sports cars do have more owners, only start worrying when there's more owners than miles!

Our Griff when we had it was 6 months old and had two previous owners!!! (apparently it scared them both!!!)

BTW in 1992 I bought a 1976 TVR1600M with a mere 17 previous owners!! All you griff owners appear to be in single digits at present.

When I bought mine, I was the 6th owner.

Yes 5 previous owners in 5 years and clocked up only 30,000 Miles. Each owner had bought the car in the spring, ran it for the summer, and sold it when the weather got colder. It spent its winter months in garages awaiting the spring.
Since purchase back in 1998 its done over 40,000 miles (20,000 miles in the first year!)

Well I dunno - but just because it's had a lot of previous owners it doesn't, on its own, indicate anything about whether the car is good or bad. It may be that it's constantly been letting people down - on the other hand if somebody had it long enough they would have got any niggles sorted out!

If you keep it for five years and use it, service it and generally kep it together the next potential owner probably won't be put off. But if you're going to sell it on in three or six months time, that's different!
