A recent purchase:



An 85 XJ6 4.2 Soverign. It's a pretty clean car with only one small patch of rust needing attention on the roof. Everything electrical works as does the air con. A large amount of money has been spent by a previous owner sorting out most of the rust trouble spots.

Plans are:

Sort the roof out.
Treat and rust proof the underneath; sills, wheel arches etc.
Clean and condition the leather seats.
Tidy up the engine bay.

But most importantly enjoy the wonderful wafty ride!

Shame, the car is still lovely though. My Dad had one a few years ago (an '81 Jag 4.2) and I really enjoyed driving it, I think he sold it to someone who exported it to Germany in the end.
