My Tag Aquaracer needs a new battery but I don't really fancy a three month wait and ridiculous charge for them to do it. It has been suggested that I go to a local guy in Guildford who can change it for £20 but obviously won't guarantee the work. Would you take the risk?

Waterproofing/seals would be my concern.

Mine too, hence why I wanted the work guaranteed. Apparently Selfridges will do it for £40 so I shall probably pop down there tomorrow to see what they say.
