The first one I've actually seen on the road, looks so good! Also sounded amazing.
Does anyone know what kind of Plate that is though?

Ferrari 458 Italia

Opinions on this car?...

Personally, compared to a Gallardo, no contest - the Lambo wins.
Not that I'll be in a position to choose either in this lifetime biggrin
TBH, I prefer the F355 - anything newer has gone a bit, well, footballer.

I'd guess they're some sort of trade plates.

That looks fantastic although the exhausts look overdone!

Those arent UK trade plates but as the car is LHD they are likely to be foreign but never seen a plate like that before!

WHat a stunner of a car. Suddenly makes the 'Gallardo vs baby Ferrari' decision much harder!!!!

Isn't it a bit out of the Gallardo's league? I could be wrong though...

The intricacies of Ferrari pricing is sadly not something I know much about - if it's on the same price plan as a Murci, then the Ferrari is the one that fell right down from the very top of the Ugly tree, snapped every branch on the way down, then got hit by a bus. It is not pretty. Sorry.

How does that work I wonder. V12? 4 cylinders per exhaust? Or V8 and I have no idea!

I think the plates are Turkish diplomatic or temporary customs plates.

V8 with 4 outlets, leading into 3 dummy exhausts exiting out the back with centre of the 3 shared by two pipes

IIRC one of those was a direct outlet from the wastegate? The 458 is NA, no?

I have no idea how anyone could consider the 458 as ugly.

Does it not have the active exhaust system where the 3rd outlet is only used over certain revs and gives that dual sound?

Very pretty car (and Im NOT a Fezza fan at all)

My biggest complaint is that it has been sculpted to the point that it just looks like a plastic mould - but otherwise, its gonna grab most peoples attention Im sure!

Thought so.

From a little digging on here it seems the third exhaust is purely there from a styling perspective. Also seen mention that two flaps from the main exhausts feed into it. Nothing definitive though.

+1 Ferrari's return to form.

I suspect the nay-sayers find the latest Hyundai almost irresistible....
