What VW sports car?

My wife is trying to describe to me a VW sportscar she saw yesterday, she drove behind it for a while so the description is pretty much that view. It's doing my head in because I dont know what she's talking about

It was on a 10 plate
2 doors.
Only badge was round VW in middle rear.
The wheel arches were raised higher than the boot / back of the car.
And it looked nothing like any other car.

Must teach her how to use her phone camera one handed whilst driving
