Who is on the PH campsite?
Discussion
Morning all,
3 weeks to go and have just started packing, and was wondering who else will be on the PH site this year?
This will be the first time at Le Mans for my daughter and only the second for me, plus my last visit was on a hospitality freebie from Audi, so didn't really get a chance to meet or chat with a lot of people....
Would be nice to speak to a few fellow PH'rs before just rolling up on the thursday....

Hi guys thanks for the responses,
Packing 3 weeks in advance is more for my daughter than me, making sure she has everything req'd and doesn't forget anything.... plus I'm also packing for triathlon I'm doing the weekend before, and a trip to Paris in between...
Looking forward to meeting you all in person and sharing a fair few beers as well! When is everyone else arriving, I should be there Thursday afternoon, and as far as I'm aware do PH share this site with the Aston owners club? If so, do they put all the PH guys together or is it fairly mixed up?
Also, how will I know who you are, I'll be fairly noticeable with my blue-ish Scottish skin (lack of sunshine!) and the fact I won't have a car... don't ask, long story...
Oh and has anyone received their tickets yet?

Last year we were all mixed up and it was a really good atmosphere. Our first two cars will be arriving on Thursday afternoon/evening, with the other car arriving on Friday at some point. We'll be in a Black Cerbera and a Black Merc E class estate with a huge tent spanning both pitches.
Pop in and say hi.

Looks like there is going to be quite a good mix this year and I like the fact we will all be mixed up, my daughter has everything crossed that we will be lodged in between 2 Astons, no guesses as to what her favourite car is then...
Davidd, will probably be able to spot you from anywhere on the site with a tent that size, will pop over on thursday with some refreshments and say Hi..
Who else is driving what so we will recognise you?

Hi all,
We will be arriving on Saturday 5th June in order to start setting up the site from 10:00am Sunday morinng. Most PHers are arriving either on Thursday or Friday, with some early arrivals. Looking at the long range weather forecast, it could be a dry one.
AMOC have approx 30 pitches and PH have 85+
. We put AMOC in a block in the middle then PH all round the perimiter. By all accounts there are some great cars coming.
We look forward to meeting you all in a few weeks time for a beer and a chat.
BTW tickets will be out tomorrow (Tuesday) by special delivery, if we can get them all finished tonight.

Thanks for some more info on who is going guys...
Brian, many thanks for the update on tickets and proposed plan for the site...
Will try and meet as many of you as possible over the weekend, really looking forward to this now as I haven't been since 2004...
Planning on doing the CBW at St Saturnin friday am (beer), then pit lane, then drivers parade(more beer), then Le Mans town and possibly some footy (even more beer)....
Anybody else doing something similar?

Only doing the footy as it's Friday night so no racing to watch, plus it's France's 1st game so the atmosphere in Le Mans should be pretty good...
Ok fair point... Didn't know who's playing! Could make a nice change to the Chav Friday nightmare? I sort of take it back Only doing the footy as it's Friday night so no racing to watch, plus it's France's 1st game so the atmosphere in Le Mans should be pretty good...
