TVR S3 Geabox Vehicle Speed Sensor

I am hoping that someone might be able to help me, I have an S3 and am currently installing a 24v engine with an MT75 gearbox. Anyway my problem is that I need to remake the connections from the loom to the vehicle speed sensor and I guess that they go VSS - Gearbox:
Black - Black, Brown - Brown and Yellow - Red? If anyone has their TVR S3 in the air please could you confirm. Thanks

Just to confirm, you have the yellow wire from the sender attached to the red one from the loom?

Pretty confusing but Phillpot is actually Mike. Anyway he only lives in Redditch not a million miles away from you if you're in stoneleigh?
Also there's StewMc somewhere near Cov airport, but I can't remember if his is an S2 or an S3. I'm in Solihull with an S2 if you want to have a look at the speedo wiring, I've had the wiring out and know where all of the connectors are.

Mine was exactly like the wiring diagram for the S2. My speedo problem was in trying to find a mechanical bit in the gearbox with the right number of teeth. I had a speedo constantly under reading, not good around the M42. I had to get a special fabricated in the end.

Yeah, there is a three wire plug down near the gearstick, definately yellow from the thing in gearbox goes to a thinner red wire in main loom.

if all else fails then fit a road angel as your speedo for accurate reading
