Drivers door lock

Hiya
I am sure this has been discussed previously, but having now brought my chim500 out to Germany ( I am serving in the armed forces out here, I find that my driver´s door lock no longer works!
It locks by means of the key fob but doesnt open from the mirror button. It opens from the internal switch inside the car. Should i be looking at the solenoid or the mirror switch.
Also how do I get a pix of the car on here?
