Well.....what a bloody day thats been.

So I have an old peugeot parked on my land. Belongs to a mate who's planning to get it back on the road (it just needs new brake pads).
It's a nice day. The local kids came and asked if they could go a play on the land (I always let em as long as they tell me theyre going up there).
So today...for some reason, they decide to vandalise the peugeot.
Bend out the door frame, rip out the ignition lock, b
ks the steering lock, take the handbrake off and roll it into a tree.
So my mate discovers this at 6. He isn't the kind of bloke to take this stuff in his stride. We find out which kid did it from one of the little kids.
My mate finds him and puts him on the floor (kid is 15) I manage to persude him not to knock ten bells out of him.
He tells him to go get his dad to sort this out.
Dad then arrives with a table leg in his hand. Realises that the two blokes lookin at him are twice his size and drops the leg
So we sort it out...amicably, everyone cslms down. Kid apologised. Had had the short sharp shock he needed. Offers to help with jobs to pay back the damage he caused. Everything is sorted.
Then the mother arrives....pissed off her head.
Gobby mouthy shoutin the odds. Then another woman arrives, her neighbour.
Mother tells woman number two to "f
k off back home its nothing to do with you"
Shouting starts, pushin, slappin, dress gets ripped off, boobs akimbo (I miss this unfortunately). They end up having to be pulled apart.
Mother gets arrested carted off to the cells.
Police have been round all night.
On the upside, they didnt want to know my mates name. They though the lad having the fear of god put into him was the best thing that could happen. They also thought the bit with the dad and the table leg was excellent
Anyhow....apropo of not much....but not the saturday night I had planned.
Living not far from a council estate is such fun sometimes.
Its been like Jeremy Kyle.

Picked a mate up after running around all over london to be asked "what the f
k has happened to your car" walked round the passenger side to find this - no idea where it happened but a lorry or similar must've hit it whilst it was parked somewhere judging from the height etc of the damage - I've had better days...

how did you get into your vehicle without checking all four wheels/side?
I do this too...but only because I have no faith left in people doing the right thing when they do something like that...or even careing. Maybe he was one of the few of us left that did...not anymore though ehMy ballcock has broken, or at least the valve that the ball should open, no cold water to add to a bath full of to hot water. I also now can't flush the loo.
head into London for some fun, water pump goes on the way home, needed recovering, hence still online at stupid am.
so instead of relaxing tomorrow I'll either buy a new car or fit a new power steering pump and water pump.

By the sounds of it you really need to move!!
I'm currently sat looking over a nice quiet garden with birds twittering and the odd motorbike going for gold down the distant main road (I'm the odd sort who like hearing high performance engines in the distance). Oh and sipping some rather decent homebrew lager. Well drinkable anyway. Well it's cold.
