Only had the telescope out for a few nights, but slowly getting some decent shots out.

Kit is Celestron CGEM1100 + EOS5D. Straight through, no zoom/crop.



Going to cut down the light even more tomorrow night as you can still see a slight blurring from the shutter (although it's a million times improved since I turned off the mirror redface)

CCD cam in a few nights time is the next challenge!

That's spooky. Last night I tried taking a photo of the moon for the first time with my 100-400 lens, also on a 5D. This was handheld as I didn't have my tripod with me. Image is a 100% crop, as there was a lot of empty black space in the frame as it came out of the camera.
