lib dem voters
Discussion
Foggy did his level best to hide the strongly pro-euro policies of his party during the election and even when drawn on the leaders debates he obfuscated.
I suspect many lib-dem voters did so without realising a lib-dem govt would've handed as much power as possible straight to the EU and the adoption of the euro and a central bank in Frankfurt on day two.

to me voting lib dem means one thing. I am pro europe. ie allowing brussels a bigger say in the running of britain. considering the euro as our currency. can/do lib dem voters really believe this is the best way for the country to be run had the lib dems won a majority?
This is because you are an idiot, HTHThere exist a varied amount of reasons for voting for most all parties.

What I don't understand is the Lib-Dem supporters who are now complaining about the coalition compromises. Given that a key aspect of Lib-Dem policy is some form of Proportional Representation, do these voters not realise that if that was introduced there would always be coalitions and so compromises?
Why complain about precisely that now? This coalition is in effect testing out the Proportional Representation effects.

I am hoping that soon enough the countries in the Eurozone (well, the "rich" ones) get mightily f***ed off that they have to pay a lot more in tax to support the poorer countries, and the whole thing gets binned.
The Germans are already not happy about this.
I'm surprised they didn't have the foresight to predict that the union could go that way! There is no use having a union that falls apart when times are hard, a union should stick together through thick or thin otherwise all the expense of setting it up will be for nothing. The Germans are already not happy about this.

It was in reference to the OP thinking the only reason to vote lib dem was because of a pro europe stance.
No other reason to vot for them, voting Liberal is pointless, rather like the Liberals.Willie Dee said:

+1
But I see we have a malcontent amongst us, with a brilliant and incisive counter argument
