ECU software

I have a 3R ... where can I get the ECU software? And what leads do I need to connect it to my computer?

Can I connet it via USB? OR do I need a serial port?

I am not going to change anything - just want to see what it looks like etc.

Not sure where you can get the software maybe the net?Thats where i got mine from and was free but my ecu is an omex. If your ecu is serial port but you computer only has usb you can get a lead thats usb to serial. But they are a bit hit and miss.

Software is on NobleParts site and as already said, USB to serial convertors are VERY hit and miss. Don't think by buying a more expensive version it'll be more likely to work either. You're far better off with a PCMCIA card shoved into your lappy if you don't have a port availalbe already. Either way you'll need a standard RS232 cable (maplins, ebay, etc).
