Ultima GT racer up for sale

Has anyone seen the ad in the back of autosport??? Colin Blower motorsport is selling the GT racer they built last year £99,000.

Anyone got any idea why they're selling it... seems a bit mad to me, they spent ages developing it and their results were getting better toward the end of last year weren't they?

Didn't think that Colin Blower managed to get out in the GTs last year? Remember there was mention of him trying to get the car out. Did anyone see it at Brands on the big Ultima outing last autumn?

Has anyone heard anything about whether Master Motorsport are going to be running their Ultima this year again?

Ahhh... maybe it was master motorsport that i was thinking of then.

Both cars ran last season. The Masters one did the whole season, well at least most of it. Colin Blowers car, for some reason, not sure why, fell into an unusual class. He only ran at Rockingham. Pi$$ed all over the field at the start, but was forced to do an extra pit stop. (Part of rules for his class) Came in about 6th or 8th IIRC.

Ah. Forgot to set the video for that round...

I guess the class he was in didn't have much of a restrictor then...?

Hopefully we'll see both (or even more) Ultimas out this year. Maybe they'll be able to take the fight to the Moslers and TVRs. Sadly I'll have to go further afield if I want to see them this year as we're only getting the F3 brigade at Knockhill this year due to the proximity of Le Mans.
