Keeping cats away from fish pond
Discussion
Just moved house and dug a pond to house my Koi and the neighbours cat seems to have taken a real shine to trying to fish them out.
I've got a net over the pond but he managed to get underneath it this morning, as I went off in to the garden to scare him away he'd gotten caught in it and just escaped before I got to him.
Are there any ways that I can keep a cat away from the pond? I've heard citrus is quite good and google doesn't show up anything when I look for lazer guiding cat tracking air rifle...

You can get a plastic cat thing with reflective eyes which might dissuade them.
Or it'll fall in love with it and bring it "fishy Koi type presents" to show how much it loves ol' sparkly eyes!Or one of these;

Just ordered two (one for backup) to stop a huge black cat attacking my little dinky Burmese in the garden.
Hacing tried everything to keep moggies leaving kit catt treats on RR juniours playing area I found this worked best

Piranhas?
Which would then lead to a thread about "How do I keep the piranhas away from the Koi?!"

park a soft top car near the pond
That will be parked out front, so it might just work!I'm now off to the shops to get a super soaker (the cat is little more than an excuse for this!), citrus sticks and some more spikes for the net...
