Gallardo - chassis nb - model year ?

[mb1]

Does anybody know how to relate Gallardo chassis number and model year ?

I am trying to find out when the 2006 model year starts with regards to build number as I am buying a 55 plate car and would like to check it is a 2006 model year (which it should be as register after sept 2005)

Any help would be great !

Thanks.

I have a feeling the chassis number should start with MY06 it's a 06>. I'm not 100% sure though.
