Can anyone tell me what car the new master cylinder pictured fits? I bought it being told it was for a 1973 3.0 csl but it seems it is incorrect.

Any help would be great.

Regards,

Rohan

Had a quick look on this site:

http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/#tradition

But the diagrams aren't too clear.

If there's a part number is should help you out by identifying what vehicles it was fitted to.

HTH anyway

Hi Nick, as you say its hard to work out which one it is on there.

There are no part numbers on it either.

Im sure it is a 70's BMW as its not that disimilar to the 3.0 csl one in the photo it is compared to.

Very annoying as it was expensive and I was assured it would fit!

Thanks,

Rohan

From the (admittedly vague) diagrams my money is on it being from a 2.5 CS, rather than a 3.0 CSL.

Maybe be worth contacting Fritz Bits to see if they can help identify it ??
