I'm grumpy, not eating properly and generally feeling p*ssed off with things at the moment.
Why?
Because I've not been able to drive my Griffith since the middle of April while I've been waiting for a new exhaust system (manifolds, cats and exhaust). That and the lovely weather almost since the day I took the car off the road is killing me.
I knew it was going to take a while and I'm not blaming anyone. I just thought I would be able to survive without driving the Griff for few weeks. How wrong could I be.
These cars should come with an addiction warning and I think some sort of self help group may be in order...... - No, scratch that last idea.

I know only to well how you feel mate, off the road for 10 months last year, went right through the summer with no griff, and then back on the road in the winter when the weathwer is crap and nothing much going on anyway...............but when you do get it back, you`ll appreciate it all the more.

It the Act performance manifolds, racig cats and cherry bomb exhaust.
Tim's having to customise the nearside manifold as I've got a helicoiled spark plug which is fouling his normal design. Just waiting for that last piece.

Hoover - when are you getting yours back and what are you having done?
I've got my fingers crossed I can pick mine up today (the sun is still shining). It's had a Taraka Plus, and new Nitrons and springs, braided brake hoses, and de-catted and ceramic-coated manifolds - and powder-coated rocker covers for the looks.
Very interested in feeling the difference - after the first 1000 mile run in.

Very Nice! The ACT manifolds with 200cell Cats are on my wishlist, I am not sure if I will end up with them or not as they are very expensive. There are only a few people I know of that run it with the Cats in. I was thinking of combining the manifolds & Cats with the ACT Cherry Bombs or the Leven striaght through back box.

Only a total engine refresh as I lost pressure in few cylinders and they didn't look too good on leak test either. Not going for any serious upgrades as wanted to keep the characterisic and look of the engine, and to be honest most things on offer internally are already done on the 4.3's.... Minor upgrades this time would be the cam, plenum isolator also having baffled sump fitted as the chucking about on sticky tyres seemed to bring the oil light on.
I'm hoping next weekend, and then a long detoured drive to try and rack the 1k up quickly (It will be hard keeping the revs down as
)..... and then back up to Power new oil and rolling road set-up... hopefully be back to full 280' worth of ponies. :fingers crossed:Good luck with picking it up, especialy as that golden disc is still in the sky (well it is down here
