6 Police 4x4's

A few weeks ago I spotted 5 or 6 police 4x4's I think mitsibushi. All traveling over the glasgow airport fly over heading towards braehead. All doing 50 or 60, in the 40, right behind each other. Looked abit odd. No blues and twos on either. Then yeaterday I seen two flying past the same spot in the opposite direction with there lights on this time. Anyone any ideas what they were up to?

These are usually used by the armed police?

moving someone dangerous/important, perhaps I was passed by a convoy like that a few years ago on the M90 doing 90-100 bumper to bumper. With standard issue cars on every flyover after that. Later heard it was moving a then super high profile high security prionser, cant mind whom.

It was traffic cars who moved him.
