Some of you will have seen the fancy blue-lit start button that Peninsula can supply and fit.

I have the latest copy of Demon Tweeks Performance catalogue (the boy racer one unfortunately) and they have a whole range of the same blue-lit, surface mount, alloy buttons.

They are all engraved with a symbol or word and they have ones for sidelights, main lights, fog lights, boot release, alarm and some others. It occurs to me that all the buttons on my Griff could be replaced by these flashy new ones.

Of course they are unlikely to fit into the existing dash holes but I'm sure Peninsula could fit them to a suitable Griff or Chimaera if you cross their palms with a suitable amount of silver.

I'd supply a link to Demon Tweeks web site but they don't appear to be listed on there.

Unfortunately, they are 20 quid each so my funds cannot stretch to the 5 required for the Griff at present. If you have 100 quid burning a hole in your pocket, you might want to check them out.

They've been available for ages... I made a post about 12 months ago for S1/2 owners to replace their plastic twirly buttons...

I obviously missed that post. I don't usually get the Max Power version of the Demon Tweeks catalogue but that's the one they've sent me. Although thinking about it, maybe I could use an F1 replica rear wing, some neon lighting and imitation carbon fibre film? Should make the car go quicker with 3 tonnes of downforce and added weight right?

That looks really nice! It would clash with the green illumination of the existing dials in my early griff. I'd have to get the dials all lit with blue led's as well!.

You can do that with the black dial faces. There was another post on here ages ago about replacing them with LED bulbs.

No problem. Think yourself lucky you've got a TVR to play with this weekend, I'm relegated to pedal power until mine gets a new diff!

Edited to add, I was going to look for your original post via your profile but then I saw how many you'd made? I need a new job with better Pistonheads priviledges!

Yeah, I saw that thread. Looked abit of a pain in the arse though. Got more pressing things that need doing on the car first anyway. Led's are something I can do later when the carpets and respray are done.
