I have had major problems with my Powermac G5 after installing Intego Internet Barrier on it.....ended up having to re-install OS-X on hard drive as it kept shutting down....anyone else had any problems with this?

Not going to be any help to you at all, but why did you want to install it in the first place?

OS X has a built in firewall, ,and virus attacks etc are very rare on Macs (one of the advantages of small market share!). In the 4 years I've been using them on ADSL lines I've never had an attack of any nature (asking for trouble I know).

Most ADSL modem/routers have filters and blocking and it's much better done there than on your desktop. If you're currently using a USB ADSL modem on your Mac, you'd be better off getting Intego to give you a refund and buy an ADSL modem/router...

As I said, not much help other than I wouldn't bother installing it at all...
